About 140 people came out for the Climart show at the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre last week.

The show tied together art and the environment by showcasing artwork, speakers and businesses with an environmental theme.

There were several dozen pieces of art, several videos and a number of speakers. Megan Ward, author of the Alpine Club of Canada's State of the Mountains report, was the keynote speaker.

There were also presentations by Trapper Snowboards, who talked about local manufacturing, and Greg Hill, who spilled the bean on his next mission – carbon free adventure until he travels to Nepal in September.
