Singer and songwriter Coco Love Alcorn stops in the Big Eddy this Friday as part of a coast-to-coast tour promoting her new album, Play.
The “joyful soul” singer counts diverse musical influences including Jazz, Pop, R&B and Folk, and has been hailed for her ‘extraordinary,’ ‘beautiful,’ and ‘stunning’ voice.
“Her playful and witty character, love of improvising and her willingness to engage fearlessly with the audience has made Coco Love Alcorn a mainstay on the Canadian music scene,” notes her publicist.
Play was released in March, 2011. The album as performed, recorded and produced by Alcorn.
Alcorn was a 2010 East Coast Music Awards nominee in the categories of Female Artist Recording of the Year and Songwriter of the Year.
