Highway 1 closed west of Revelstoke for avalanche control work

The TransCanada Highway 1, is set to be closed in both directions, west of Revelstoke on Wednesday, April, 17.

DriveBC is reporting planned avalanche control work between Griffin Lake Avalanche Gate and Clanwilliam OH Bridge for more than 15 km. The work will begin on Wednesday, April, 17 at 9 p.m. and last until April, 17 at 11 p.m. There will be no detours.

The next update will be on Wednesday, April, 17 at 11 p.m.
