The Trans-Canada Highway 1 west of Revelstoke is open, following a multi-vehicle incident on Thursday afternoon, March 14.

The incident closed the road for roughly an hour yesterday after a previous incident in the same region had already closed the road earlier in the day.

Although the road is open, DriveBC continues to warn drivers of minor delays due to a washout that occurred on Tuesday, March 12.

The westbound lane near Clanwilliam Lake is closed, reducing the road to single lane alternating traffic while crews work to fix the lane.

DriveBC told drivers to expect possible delays of up to 20-minutes and to watch for traffic control.
