Canada Day celebrations will be chill-y if you are in Joe Rich this year.

On Saturday July 1, the community of Joe Rich, near Kelowna will be hosting a chili cook-off contest amidst live music and additional festivities.

The cook-off will serve as a fundraiser for the Joe Rich Community Cares Project, which aims to give back to the community and help neighbours through the challenges of life.

The event will take place at the Community hall and park.
