New highway cam added to Highway 23 North

A new highway camera has been placed on Highway 23 North to allow travellers the opportunity to view highway conditions before they hit the road, the Ministry of Transportation announced Saturday.

The new webcam is located near where the Goldstream Forest Road starts off Highway 23 North.

The north-looking camera is located 90 kilometres north of Revelstoke, near the start of the Goldstream Forest Service Road.

It is one of 30 new highway cameras being added to the DriveBC.ca network this year. It is the first camera to be place on Highway 23 North.
