Revelstoke man faces charges for possession of stolen firearms, other items

A Revelstoke man is facing several charges arrested after police found stolen property, including three firearms, at a Humbert Street address.

Revelstoke RCMP Cpl. Thomas Blakney says police executed a search warrant at the residence about 9 p.m. on Friday, June 10.

Police recovered several stolen items in the process, including a sawed-off shotgun and two other firearms, ammunition, mountain bikes, power tools and drug paraphernalia.

Two men who were at the residence were arrested. One of them was later released without charges. The second man, age 24, who had been living at the residence, is facing several firearms charges and charges for possession of stolen property. He was released on a promise to appear in Revelstoke Provincial Court.
