Thieves in Revelstoke have found another target — LED off-road vehicle lights.

Thieves in Revelstoke have found another target — LED off-road vehicle lights.

Revelstoke RCMP said they have received several reports of thefts of the lights from vehicle. The lights are usually long black light bars with a large number of LEDs that produce a very bright light.

They are not legal for street use but are often mounted on the front of off-road trucks, say the RCMP.

They can cost up to $2,000.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information about these thefts to call the detachment at 250-837-5255 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
