Heavy equipment is quickly eating up the old school. Pictured above is the state of the building as of Halloween evening.

For those interested in checking out the new school, there will be an open house on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Architects, designers and contractors will highlighting features including sustainable design, wood use and more from 4–8 p.m. at RSS. School staff will also be on hand to help feature the new school.

Also, earlier in the day, B.C. education minister George Abbott will be at the school for the official grand opening ceremony scheduled for 10:30 a.m., although that ceremony is an invitation event.
