In Loving Memory ~

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving wife and mother, Bonnie Driediger, at the age of 81 years. Bonnie passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home, here in Revelstoke, after battling a long illness.

Bonnie was born in Revelstoke, B.C., on Feb 22nd, 1942. Here she met the love of her life and future husband David. They were married in May 1961 and together they raised three children, Randy, Todd and Tracey.

Bonnie is survived by her husband David of 62 years, children, Randy (Anita), Todd (Sue), Tracey and their families, including grandchildren and a great grandson. Also survived by her cousin, Ray Soules and many other family members and friends. All who will miss her dearly!

Bonnie was active in the community and had many loving friends and families she spent time with while working, bowling, playing softball and social outings, until such time as Dave's work took them to Calgary in 1978 and then to Montreal in 1980, where they spent 30 years.

In 2010 they moved back to B.C. (Penticton) to be closer to family. In 2021 they moved to Vernon and then in February 2023 they moved home to Revelstoke to live with their daughter Tracey who assisted mom during mom's decline in health.

Bonnie loved many things in life including curling, line dancing, lawn bowling, playing cards, volunteering to help others and travelling across the globe. Bonnie and Dave loved spending their winters in Mexico after they retired, where they made many international friends.

Bonnie will be remembered for many things she did, but mostly for her never ending energy to work and help others with a beautiful smile on her face, friendliness in her voice, joyfulness in her laugh, and love in her heart.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Sarah Brown, the nurses and home care aides that looked after Bonnie during her declining health, you were all a blessing and angels sent to help our mother when she needed it most.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in mom's name with our heartfelt thanks.

At mom's request, her body will be cremated and a Family and Friends Gathering and service is planned for April 19th, 2024.
