In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness the family of Brad Morabito, best known as Jets, announce his passing at Queen Victoria Hospital on February 28, 2024, with his siblings by his side. He was 46 years old.
Brad was predeceased by his mother, Ann, in 2022 and his father, Jim, in 1995.
He is survived by his daughter Molly Gibbons of Revelstoke, his siblings John Morabito (Tara Peach) of Revelstoke, Megan (Jeff) Lund of Revelstoke, three nieces and one nephew: Loren, Olivia, Ava, and Lincoln.
Born in Revelstoke on March 17, 1977, Brad's greatest love was his daughter, Molly. Brad had a passion for hockey, and he remained a life-long, die-hard Edmonton Oilers fan. He was also an avid golfer and gamer who prioritized and valued spending time with friends and family.
In his last few weeks, those friendships were instrumental in supporting not only Brad, but also his loved ones. Their care for Brad is the definition of family, and their grace and generosity will be forever remembered.
There will be a Graveside Service on Saturday March 16, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, followed by a reception in the Begbie Room at the Regent Inn.
All are welcome and encouraged to wear hockey jerseys. While joking isn't easy at the moment, Brad made special mention that those who show up with Canucks Jerseys will be escorted out, as you know better.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Brad can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
