Brian "Ross" Hoshizaki passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at his residence on Friday, May 7th, 2021 at the age of 55.
Ross was born in Nakusp, B.C. on August 28,1965 and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1991.
He was a well-respected chiropractor in town for 24 years, retiring in 2015. He cherished the extra time that his early retirement provided, allowing him to volunteer at his kids' school events and their summer swim meets.
Ross also enjoyed: time on Shuswap Lake with friends and family, Spring Break holidays to Hawaii, watching NFL football, and exploring the flats with his dog, as well as Wednesday night poker and his annual trip to Vegas with "the boys".
Ross is survived by his wife, Kathy of Revelstoke; three children: Brynn, Megan and Tye; parents, Brian and Ali of Armstrong; sister, Kim (Dean) Girolami of Humboldt, Saskatchewan and their children Mitchell and Nicole; parents-in-law, Jim and Sharron Bollefer of Campbell River; brother & sister-in-law, Kevin (Shannon) Bollefer of Revelstoke and their children Jenna and Alyssa, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to thank relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for their love and support as well as Dr. Kate McCarroll and Dr. Mostert for the outstanding care they provided.
There will be no formal funeral service.
