Domenic Marcoffio passed away at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 with his loving wife by his side, at the age of 85 years. Prayers were recited from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Tuesday evening 7 pm, January 14th, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday morning 10:30 am, January 15th with Father Cecil Nunez celebrant. Pallbearers were members of the Knights of Columbus: Tom Camozzi, Phil DeCicco, Paolo Holzer, Jack McKinnon, Sonny Pedersen and Lorne Zarazun. Burial followed in the family plot of Mountain View Cemetery, Revelstoke.
Domenic was born in Sepino, Italy on December 5, 1934 and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1972, moving here after living in Field for 22 years. He was a Yard Foreman for C.P. Rail for many years. Domenic was a hard-working man who enjoyed gardening, going for walks, being with his family, and the occasional game of bocce.
Domenic was predeceased by his parents and his brother. He is survived by his wife Annette of Revelstoke; two children: Joe (Melissa) of Revelstoke and Lucia (Brad) of Calgary; five grandchildren: Rhoda, Max, Ben, Kristiane and Nathan; one sister Christina (Nunzio) of Hartford, Connecticut as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
