Frank Victor Foster passed away at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Tuesday, August 15th, 2017 at the age of 83 years. A Prayer Service will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Revelstoke at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday evening, August 19th with Father Cecil Nunez celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice, in memory of Frank.
Frank was born in York, Ontario on February 26, 1934 and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1969. He enjoyed camping, gardening, fishing and the outdoors. He had an incredible sense of adventure and loved to travel. Frank was an avid reader and thrived on learning new things. Frank’s hobby was building – anything and everything, in his workshop.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Reta as well as his brother Jack Prentice. He is survived by his wife Molly of Revelstoke; four children: Cheryl (Don) Belliveau of Bradford, Ontario, Tracy (Len) Helyer of Calgary, Shannon (Kevin) Bollefer of Revelstoke and Koreen (Mauro) Morrone of Revelstoke; eight grandchildren: Travis, Alex, Ashley, Jenna, Alyssa, Arianna, Francesco and Natalia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
