Gloria Lorraine Dedosenco


Mrs. Gloria Lorraine Dedosenco passed away at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Tuesday, November 25th, 2008 at the age of 65 years. A Memorial Service was held from the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection,

Revelstoke on Saturday afternoon, November 29th with Pastor Ron Tabbert officiating. Interment of the cremated remains followed in the family plot of Mountain View Cemetery, Revelstoke. Flowers were acceptable, or memorial contributions may be made to the B.C. Cancer Foundation, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, B.C. V1Y 5L4, in memory of Gloria.

Gloria was born in Vancouver, B.C. on May 18, 1943 and was a long-time resident of Revelstoke. She enjoyed fishing, camping and gold mining. Gloria also had a passion for shopping. She loved to cook and entertain and was a mother to all who visited her. Gloria’s passion was to travel and she and Ron backpacked in China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Egypt, Turkey, India & Mexico.

Gloria was predeceased by her father Adolph in 1985, mother Lena in 2007 and her beloved daughter Cherie in 1983. She is survived by her husband Ron of Revelstoke, one son Layton (Tasha) of Revelstoke; one grandson Jordan and one granddaughter Petra, both of Revelstoke; brother Bruce (Patti) Kaduhr of Surrey; mother-in-law Rose Camozzi of Revelstoke; brother-in-law Albert Dedosenco of Revelstoke; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; uncle George (Helen) Lutz of Port McNeil; aunt Lily (Kurt) Borstel of Sicamous as well as many close relatives in Canada and the USA.

Arrangements were in the care of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke.
