It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the peaceful passing of Jim, at Hillside Village, Salmon Arm. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Eileen, in 2016, and his dear daughter, Donna, in 2014. He will be lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He leaves to mourn his daughter Patti (Mas), son-in-law, Bob, and granddaughters, Kristen (Devon) and Jenna, and great grandson, Olaf. Jim was the oldest of eight siblings; he was predeceased by Del, Bonnie, Bob, Bert and Fran, and leaves to carry on the Friesen name his brothers Len and Ken, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank all of the amazing professionals who did such a great job of taking care of him, in Revelstoke and Salmon Arm. We couldn't have managed without you.
Respecting Jim's wishes, there will be no memorial service.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Bower's Funeral Home, Salmon Arm.
If desired donations, in memory of Jim, may be made to Diabetes Canada.
