Jean Luc Bouchayer
January 18, 1961 ~ January 6, 2011
Jean Luc died suddenly in Nanaimo, BC. He had only just realized his dream of living on a sailboat with plans of sailing around the world with his first mate, Karen.
He lived his life with enthusiasm, energy and determination. He died living his dream.
His spirit will always be with his family and his many friends. A debt of gratitude goes out to the residents and members at the Ladysmith Maritime Society Marina and to all those who worked so hard to save him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ladysmith Maritime Society.
