Jeanette Henry passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024, in Langley BC. Jeanette was born on April 7, 1937, in Winnipeg MB and raised in Revelstoke where her family settled. Jeanette met John Albert Henry in Revelstoke and married in 1957 raising their family and were active members of the Revelstoke community and enjoyed travel getaways in their motor home. Jeanette and John had many friends from Revelstoke, namely with the Revelstoke Fire Dept, where John was a voluntary firefighter, and from Cooper's Grocery where Jeanette worked for over 30 years before retiring in 1993. Jeanette and John left Revelstoke in 1994 to be closer to their two children in Langley BC. Jeanette was a proud sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Jeanette is predeceased by her loving husband John. Left to mourn Jeanette's passing is her sister Maureen Keene (nee McDonald), her son J. Michael Henry (Lucille Henry, nee Levesque) and her daughter Debra Anne Brown, nee Henry, (L. Charles Brown). Jeanette is also survived by grandchildren Taylor Henry, Chelsea Henderson, nee Henry (Derek Henderson), Rachelle Schroeder, nee Henry (Ryan Schroeder), Shania Brown and Quinton Brown. As well as 3 great-grandchildren.
A private celebration of life is planned for the family.
