In loving memory ~
Karen Vigue, 78, passed away on September 2, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Karen is survived by her children Natalie Harder (Eldon), Darrin Vigue (Alison), and Tammy Vigue (Dave), as well as eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In her later years, Karen made Columbia House in Invermere her home, where the staff became her second family, alongside Heartfelt Companion, Leanne Brooks, and her team. Karen's family is deeply grateful for their exceptional care and support.
Karen's joy was found in simple moments, especially through music, games, and sharing meals with loved ones. Food was her love language, and the way to her heart was through sweets and candy, and a good strong cup of coffee.
Karen is lovingly remembered by her siblings Alvina Charest, Larry Schmidt, and Jack Schmidt, her many friends and relatives, and the Beingessner families. She is predeceased by her parents John George Schmidt and Edna Pearly Beatrice Schmidt, and brother Randal Douglas Schmidt.

As we mourn her passing, we cherish the moments of laughter and her big beautiful smile.
