Keith passed away suddenly at his home in Kamloops, BC. Keith was predeceased by his father Ron Cameron in 1994.

He will be fondly and lovingly remembered by his mother Anita Cameron of Revelstoke. Siblings Enola (Brad) Nygren of Innisfail, Alberta. Ryan (Kathryn) Cameron of Field, BC. Gaye (Greg) Brownlee of Revelstoke, BC. Nadine Cameron and Tom Cadwallader of Revelstoke, BC. His nephews and nieces Ryan, Nick, Luke, Aaron, Caitlin, Tyra, Jillian, Jenna, and Brandon plus many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Keith was born in Revelstoke but moved to Kitimat then Golden where he spent his many happy years on the family farm. He graduated from Golden Secondary School and began working for CP Rail in 1977. His railway career took him from Golden to Cranbrook, Revelstoke and finally Kamloops. Keith believed in fairplay and worked hard at supporting his fellow Railroaders with issues of employment and the workplace.

Keith’s family was extremely important to him. Keith wanted for little and tried to give so much to those he loved. Although he had no children of his own he wanted to be the best Uncle any nephew or niece could know. He also loved reading, music, plus any gaming system whether it was on a computer or a console. He had an ongoing passion for fishing. In his youth you could always find him at his special place on the Columbia River with his brother trying to catch the next big one. Later he discovered the games of pool and bowling both of which he showed a great natural talent for. He was a fierce competitor that many admired.

The family wishes to thank Paul Carter and Constable Andrew Eaton for their understanding and compassion. A memorial service for Keith will be held at Revelstoke in the Spring.
