Norma passed away peacefully on January 3, 2023, at the age of 83. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Norma was born on July 12, 1939, in Regina, Saskatchewan.
She is predeceased by her husband Dale and parents Floyd and Ann Dixon.
She is survived by her sons, David (Leanne), grandchildren Gina, Bonnie and Sarah, great-grandchildren Carter and Alida; son Doug (Beatrix), grandchildren Matthew and Karlee; and son Tim (Jacqui), grandchildren Megan and Jodi, and great-grandchildren, Jackson and Benjamin.
Norma is also survived by her twin sister Myrna Hawkins from Calgary.
Norma grew up in Regina, where she met Dale and the two of them were married on December 30th, 1957. After a short time in Regina, they moved to Calgary and finally settled in Revelstoke with the three boys in 1969, where Norma has resided for the past 53 years.
Norma was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to take her boys to Mabel Lake where they spent their summers. This was truly her special place.
She will always be remembered as a kind and gentle woman who spent her time caring for others.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Brown and the amazing staff at Mount Cartier Court for the exceptional care Norma received.
