Peter Radnor Miller passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Revelstoke on Thursday, August 12th, 2021 at the age of 70 years. There will be a Graveside Service on Saturday, August 28th, at 11 am at Mountain View Cemetery, Revelstoke. All of Peter's friends are welcome to attend.
Peter was born in Revelstoke on March 8, 1951 and had been a lifelong resident. He spent his working career with C.P. Rail as the Safety Course Training Officer. In his leisure time, Peter was active with the Revelstoke Ski Patrol, the Kokanee Glacier Challenge, was a long-time member of the Revelstoke Golf Club and also taught First Aid.
Every May long weekend, Peter hosted a barbeque for his many good friends, some which include: Marilyn, Dawn & Emma, Gary & Fran, Jimmy & Elaine, Tim & Charlene, Ed & Jeanne, Clarence, Ken (Rooster), Jen, Bryan, Amy & families, Scott & Joanne, Ron, John & Georgina and Norma & Erica.
Peter loved life which was evident in photographs where he is shown in the throes of a good belly laugh. Peter's passion in life was playing golf, which he did every chance he could.
Peter was predeceased by his parents George and Stephanie and numerous aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his brother Walter (Lorie) of Blind Bay; nieces and nephews: Jarrett (Chelsea) Miller of Sicamous, Jennifer (Jared) Baylis of Kelowna, Amanda Leeson of Enderby and Jennifer Leeson of Cumberland; great nieces and nephews: Marley, Kylee, Luka, Ethan, Sierra, Carter and Tyson, as well as numerous cousins and many close friends.
