He was involved with many sports in his younger years and was very active with the Vintage Car Club. Randy worked six days a week and even went in on Sunday to feed his pet crow and squirrel at the Ford dealership. He was a great animal babysitter for his children's pets. Randy loved music and especially enjoyed the music in the Plaza during the summer, but especially when his daughter Kaylee's group was playing. He was Kaylee's number one groupie. Randy's children and grandchildren were very important to him. He loved getting down on the floor and playing with his grandchildren. Family was number one. Randy lived his life by "The Golden Rule."
