In Loving Memory ~
It is with a joy deep enough to sustain our sadness that we announce the death of our Mom, Tina Horsthuis. Mom entered more deeply into the rest of her Creator and Lord in the morning of December 31st, she was 83 years old. She died peacefully after a turbulent struggle with dementia.
Mom was born in Holland on Valentine's Day 1940. She relocated with her family (Her sister Riek remained in Holland) to Salmon Arm in the early 1950s. She married our Dad, Hank, on June 1, 1963 and they eventually settled in Revelstoke for the majority of their life together.
Mom returned to Salmon Arm after our Dad died in 2010.
Mom is survived by her daughter Audrey (Randy), and sons Hendrick (Catherine) and Jim (Laura); her grandchildren Corey, Justin, Candis, Allysa, Alexandra, Joshua, Jenna, Madelyn and Alli; her great grandchildren William, Payton, Elijah, Keegan, Lucas, Nora, and Emily; her sisters Jane, Riek, Johanna, and Nellie and her brother Peter. And many nieces and nephews both in Canada and Holland.
