The Revelstoke Acrobats finished their season with a very large and tough competition against teams from across B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. The competition took place in Port Coquitlam, B.C., over the May 13–15 weekend. Seven members represented the Acrobats and everyone had impressive results with at least one top ten finish, taking home a medal or ribbon.

Joshua Winger finished 8th overall in his category in the trampoline event, and after an impressive performance in preliminary competition, finished 9th in double-mini trampoline.  Isabella Mendonca competed a more difficult level this competition, yet jumped her way to an impressive 22nd place in trampoline and 18th place in double-mini. In the same category, Chloe Suchovs was the bronze medal winner on the trampoline and finished a very close 4th place in double mini.

Frankie Howe was the only athlete to compete all three disciplines of trampoline gymnastics at the meet. In tumbling, Frankie finished 12th, in trampoline, 10th, and in double-mini trampoline, narrowly missing a chance to compete in the event finals, 11th place overall.  Kayla Fenwick flipped herself in a great trampoline final up to a 7th place finish, and was 15th overall in double-mini. Jordan Vandenberg-Clark finished 23rd in the same double-mini category, and was 21st in the highest provincial level on trampoline. Also in the highest level for the first year, on both trampoline events, Stephanie Batke finished 18th in trampoline and 16th in double mini.

In the synchronized trampoline event, Isabella Mendonca and Chloe Suchovs earned 8th place overall in the womens ‘C’ level, Kayla Fenwick and Frankie Howe 10th in ‘B’ and in level ‘A’ Stephanie Batke and Jordan Vandenberg-Clark got 5th.

The Acrobats have now finished their competition season and the gym will be closed for the summer. A new season and classes will begin in September.
