Bradly and Josh Nadeau, the brothers who led the Penticton Vees to back-to-back Fred Page Cup titles in 2022 and 2023, wrapped up their first NCAA campaigns this week in familiar spots: atop their team’s scoring list.
The University of Maine forwards ranked No. 1 and 2 in team scoring this season, with Bradly posting 46 points in 37 games and Josh recording 45.

The sixth-seed Black Bears were upset in the first round of the tournament on March 28, falling 3-1 to 12th-seed Cornell University.
Maine’s 23 wins this season was the most the school had recorded since 2012.

The latter was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the first round of the 2023 NHL Draft.

Ryan Hopkins and Grayson Arnott, two former Vees and teammates of the Nadeaus in Penticton, also played at the University of Maine this season.
Paul Kariya, a Hockey Hall of Fame forward and member of the Penticton Panthers from 1990 to 1992, also packed his bags for the northeast and chose to play the University of Maine after his time in the South Okanagan had ended.
