Race leader Ryan Mundall (120) leads brother James Mundall (119) at the 2.5 kilometre mark on Sunday’s 12-kilometre Grizzly Bear Run in Revelstoke. James later wiped the smile off his brother’s face, pulling ahead to win the Interior Running Association-sanctioned event with a time of 48:40, while Ryan slipped back to finish fourth overall with a time of 50:41. Revelstoke’s Jesse Anchikoski finished 2nd at 50:19, while Vernon racer Michael Stoll rounded out the top three with a time of 50:35. Revelstoke’s Sarah Newton finished first amongst women (7th overall) with a time of 52:22. Revelstoke sisters Brittany Evans and Megan Evans crossed the line next at 52:54 and 52:56.
