The Revelstoke Boxing Club attended Rumble #22 hosted by the 2 Rivers Boxing Club in Quesnel on Mar. 25.
At this club show, Iosvany Armenteros boxed Thomas Pope of the Fort Saint John Boxing Club, winning a unanimous decision over his opponent and scoring a standing eight count at the end of the third round.
Dominic Lentini boxed Quesnel's Kelly Gerk of the 2 Rivers Boxing Club, winning by a unanimous decision over the local boxer.
This was Armenteros' third bout and the first for Lentini.
The skills and abilities demonstrated by these two boxers during the course of their bouts proves that even though the Revelstoke Boxing Club has lost its top tiered facility, we continue to train and produce top tiered athletes.
The club's next bout is the Tomorrow's Champions Bronze Gloves Tournament in Cranbrook on April 22-23.
