The Revelstoke Grizzlies were eliminated from the playoffs after losing 4-1 to the Chase Heat on Thursday.
The win gave the Heat a 4-1 victory in the best-of-seven series. They won four straight after Revelstoke won game one.
Revelstoke travelled to Chase on Thursday needing a win to keep their season alive, but it was the Heat that came out firing. The Grizzlies found themselves down early when Josh Bourne scored a power play goal for Chase only 75 seconds into the game.
Ullar Wiatzka tied the game for Revelstoke with 6:39 left in the opening frame, but Spencer Farstad restored Chase's lead with a power play goal with 2:12 left in the first.
The second period was scoreless and Travis Beaubien added two third period goals for the Heat to give them a 4-1 win.
The Heat outshot the Grizzlies 52-23 in the deciding game.
Chase will play the winner of the series between the 100-Mile House Wranglers and Kamloops Storm; Kamloops leads that series 3-2.
