The Revelstoke Bantam Grizzlies got off to a strong start at the tier four provincial championships on home ice on Monday.

Revelstoke opened the tournament with a 7-0 win over Mission on Monday morning.

That evening, following the official opening ceremonies, they thumped Creston Valley 12-5.

In other tournament action on Monday, Whistler beat Creston 17-4 and Vanderhoof and Clearwater tied 5-5.

Revelstoke’s next game is against Vanderhoof on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. On Wednesay they play Whistler at 7:15 p.m., while on Thursday they play Clearwater at 1 p.m.
