The Vernon Pickleball Association (VPA) is close to being named the top pickleball club in the country.

The e-platform, Pickleball Today, is having a contest to name the top clubs in Canada, and the VPA is locked into a head-to-head battle for first place.

“In June, the VPA submitted their compelling story and was voted into the top 11 clubs,” said a release from the club. “During the past three weeks, voting has been taking place across Canada to determine which club will be named as Canada’s Best Pickleball Club.”

The Saint Isidore Pickleball Club in Isidore, New Brunswick is the other club in the running for the top spot.

Voting ends on Sunday, Oct. 15. You can submit your vote at pickleballtoday.co.

The VPA has hosted four tournaments in 2023, including the inaugural B.C. Provincials. It’s a non-profit organization with over 1,100 members. More information can be found at vernonpickleball.com.
