Trans-Canada Highway 1 will be close in both directions on Tuesday, March 12.
According to DriveBC, avalanche control work is planned between Townley St. and Anderson Rd., east of Revelstoke. The control work will begin at 2 p.m. and run until 9 p.m. During the closure, there will be no alternative route available.
