WorkBC will be hosting a speaker tomorrow morning (April 20) in Revelstoke, with an inclusive job fair to follow.
Victoria Maxwell will be speaking at the event first. Maxwell is a keynote speaker, workshop leader, and performing artist. Maxwell is known for her award-winning show, “Funny, You Don’t Look Crazy”, which catalogues the workplace “before, during, and after a bipolar disorder, anxiety, and psychosis diagnosis,” said a press release. Her presentation deals with mental illness visibility and stereotypes, using humour to help inform.
